The Long Lunch

Race Week Long Lunch & Wine Tasting – Sunday, August 13, Noon ’til late

The Airlie Beach Race Week Long Lunch & Wine Tasting has become one of the Festival of Sailing’s most anticipated events. Each year the Airlie Beach Race Week long lunch is based around a particular cuisine from around the world.  In 2022, the lunch followed  a Pacific Island extravaganza.

The 2023 lunch will be based around the countries of South America, showcasing the various cuisines from within, including exotic fruits, seafoods and other delicacies.  All dishes will be prepared utilising the best local produce, with a range of dishes served throughout seven courses, each expertly paired with wines to suit.

In recent years the Long Lunch has migrated to the Whitsunday Sailing Club balcony overlooking the water, where guests can view the yachts returning to finish their races..

All you have to do is sit back, relax, enjoy the view and indulge!

Book your ticket now.  $140.00 per person (plus booking fee) will provide you with the Whitsundays’ culinary event of the year.
