Whitsunday Sailing Club, the host of Airlie Beach Race Week Festival of Sailing, has announced the dates for the 2022 Airlie Beach Race Week. The Regatta will commence with registration on Thursday 11 August 2022, with racing commencing on Friday 12 August through to Thursday 18 August. Monday 15 August will be the traditional lay day.

Regatta Director and Principal Race Officer, Ross Chisholm, said that enquiries are already coming in from potential competitors looking to book berthing at either Port of Airlie Marina or Coral Sea Marina. 2021 saw high demand for berthing, and 2022 is likely to be just as busy, with both marinas at near full capacity.

The 2022 Notice of Race, including entry applications, is scheduled for release early in 2022.
